School-Based Medicaid Consortium
South East Education Cooperative’s School-Based Medicaid Consortium works with special education units, school districts and state stakeholders across North Dakota to access available federal reimbursement dollars for medically necessary services provided to students. The Consortium helps to:
Assist and Support ND Special Education Units and School Districts to access available Medicaid reimbursements
Create Efficiencies through incorporating technology and implementing effective best practices to maximize claims
Develop Relationships and collaborate with entities to strengthen the Consortium and advance its goals

Creation of Resource materials: Medicaid overview, parent consent, service authorization and more
Best practices to guide special education units and school districts in creating a strong, effective and efficient system to maximize reimbursements
Annual training for existing and new providers and special education staff
Daily Technical Assistance Consortium Group meetings - Quarterly
